Killer Burn

Good day!  This is going to be quick and to the point!!

First off, I want to thank Tasha from That’s so Yummy for featuring me as the subject of today’s Yummy Questionnaire!   How fun is this?!  I love this collage of words that pertain to me!

Picture-5

Early morning Spin class is how my day started. I love Wednesday’s spin sesh, it’s a 75-minute, high intensity, awesome music, calorie killer class!  Said and done, 850 calories gone.  Yes, 850 is what the HRM read today. BAM!  (I hope it’s close to accurate!)

Of course, that accelerated my appetite.smile_omg  Breakfast was…

A small parfait:  Plain Oikos, prunes, Grape Nuts, small spoonful of Naturally Nutty (Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Butter)

I spoiled myself for lunch and stopped at Steve’s Deli on my way home from doing some random running around.

#12 Healthy Deli Sandwich: Chicken, red onion, red pepper, low-fat muenster, vinegar-based slaw, fat free Russian Dressing

Tomato Basil

DSC01961 Deli pickles are the best. I only like the “new” pickles like this one.

DSC01962I definitely ate the entire (2 halves) sandwich, soup and pickle, which kept me full for hours. smile_eyeroll I didn’t even have an afternoon snack…rare for me!

Dinner was kinda boring, yet very tasty.

Tossed Salad: Craisins, asparagus, yellow pepper, slivered almonds, cucumber, lime vinaigrette

Another Morningstar Veggie Burger w/ provolone and tomato slices

In case you haven’t seen it, Hungry-Girl gave us a sneak peak of the new LIGHT Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge flavors arriving soon (June, I think??).  Sorry for the small picture.  The flavors are:  Cow-abunga!

  • Mozzarella Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil
  • Blue Cheese
  • Queso Fresco & Chipotle

Can’t wait to get my carrots on these!!

Question of the day:  What is your favorite “real” deli sandwich or meal?  I was tempted by the corned beef today, since St. Patty’s Day is coming, but chose the healthy version that was just as, if not more, tasty, instead!
