Tired & Lazy

Why am I so tired today?  Oh wait, because I was woken up by the snow plows at 3am and could not fall back to sleep. clock Don’t get me wrong, I love the our snow plow service and they do an amazing job, I just cannot sleep through it.

Since it’s my birthday on Sunday, I thought I would look up my horoscope for the week, just to see what it says!

(Feb 19 - Mar 20)

For the Week of Feb 22nd, 2010 -- Sunday's Full Moon shining in your 7th House of Relationships brings emotional tidal waves to your door. If you find your balance, it can carry you over the rockiest reefs and drop you on the shore of a new paradise. Sure, there are many details to be worked out before this dream becomes a reality. Yet, with a bit of faith you may get to glimpse a promised land of love that you will eventually reach.

Interesting.  I can only imagine what Sunday holds for me…based on this crazy thing!

I think a nap will be in order very soon, considering I’ll be up all night watching the ladies long program of figure skating – my most favorite sport and event at the Olympics!  Brings back so many great memories of figure skating for many years of my young life.

I don’t have a lot to share today, except for my absolutely awesome workout this morning!  Since I couldn’t sleep I went to the gym, not at 3am, but at 5:30.  smile_yawn

WORKOUT @ GYM:

  • 25 minutes elliptical
  • Weight Machines:
  • 20 minutes treadmill jogging 6.0-6.2 @ 2.0 incline
  • Core + pushups/plank + stretching

Breakfast was blue.  A blue parfait that is. (sorry, no pics today)

  • Blueberry Oikos
  • blueberries
  • Grape Nuts
  • Granola
  • Agave

Not gonna lie, I am tired and lazy.  I guess we all have these days, right?

Maybe I’ll have some energy later to say something more fun!

A few weeks ago I talked about Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative to encourage healthy eating for children in the U.S.  I came across this article in the Washington Post today and thought you may be interested in reading!

That is the worse to be woken up by a snow plow!! My fiance and I had to deal with that too recently with the blizzard, it was annoying !!!

Good workout!! That's awesome...although I am sorry you were up at 3:00am! Bugger! Thanks for the Michelle Obama article. I love that her focus in this administration is getting children more active and fighting childhood obesity. We have a LONG way to go but at least she is trying to get the word out! Have fun tonight watching the Olympics!

I'm ALWAYS woken up by the snow plows!!! UGH!! There is HUGE church behind my apartment and they're out there like 4 am! Ridiculous. And yes, I will be up tonight too watching the skating!!! LOVE IT. I love everything about the Olympics! And kudos for getting up at 5:30 to head to the gym. This is one of my goals (as soon as the Olympics are over of course).

I'm loving Ms. Obama. Seriously, that lady is awesome bc she does so much more than show up in her Gucci outfit looking pretty or organizing cocktails in the White House.
