A special thanks to Sean from Domino’s Marketing source, New Media Strategies, for contacting me to try Domino’s newly reinvented pizza, and offering a $20 Domino’s gift card to one of my readers.

I think we’re all in agreement that Domino’s pizza needed a major makeover.  I believe the last time I had Domino’s was close to 20 years ago; the crust was hard and burnt, the pizza had no flavor, and lacked depth.  We, the people, spoke loud and clear, and Domino’s listened!

What’s new?

• garlic seasoned crust with parsley baked to a golden brown
• robust sauce; sweeter, bolder tomato sauce with a medley of herbs and a red pepper kick
• more flavorful shredded cheese; 100% real mozzarella with a hint of provolone
• more taste, guaranteed

My Personal Review: Large Hand-Tossed with Mushrooms

Pros:

• crust was soft and had a nice buttery flavor
• sauce was bold with a little kick
• pizza was hot and large
• online ordering is very easy and convenient; you can personalize your pizza (light cheese, extra pepperoni, onion on half) plus there are a variety of online coupons available
• good eaten cold too
• store employees were very friendly

Cons:

• closest Domino’s to my house is 6 miles away, no delivery option (I live 20 miles from Ann Arbor, MI, which is Domino’s HQ, you’d think there would be more locations around the HQ)
• lack of mushrooms

  

Overall, a MAJOR improvement!  Way to go Domino’s!  I encourage you to try it, just once, you won’t be disappointed.
